The Happy Harps curriculum is a step-by-step approach that combines satisfying repertoire with a solid foundation in technique and theory/note reading. With two tracks available to accommodate different beginners, the series takes a student of any age from the very first lesson up through an early intermediate level.

Level 2 is for students who have completed Level 1B or Complete Level 1. It requires a mid-sized (34-string) harp with full levers. Topics covered include the use of all four fingers, flats, tempo markings, major and minor keys, 16^th note rhythms, chord inversions, harmonics, cross-overs and cross-unders, and transposition, as well as some Western music history.
