I purchased this string to replace the original string on my new harp. It is a little thicker string and a different shade of red than the original Bow brand string. But time will tell. My harp is still in its 2-year blooming period, so let's hope by the time she is 2 years old, the worst will be over. AHC could not have been more attentive to my order. Priority mail made me very happy indeed.
