Aquatint is a method of etching involving metal plates and acid that was invented in 17th century and became popular in the 18th century. This set of six pieces evoke a range of moods from sad and slow to fast and chipper.
Incorporates lots of rolled and block chords, a few lever changes required during a couple of pieces, faster tempi, and all four fingers employed. One flat required. Lots of variety.
