Do you rent harps? If so, how does your rental program work?
All of our new and some of our used lever harps are available for rental through our rent-to-own program. After an initial four-month rental period, you can choose to either return the harp or continue to rent on a month-to-month basis, with the majority of your monthly rental payment applied directly to the purchase of the harp. If you choose to purchase the harp within the first eight months, 100% of your rental payments will apply directly towards the purchase of the harp.
Our rent-to-own program includes a generous trade-up policy allowing you to trade in your lever harp for a bigger lever harp within the first year with no financial penalty. It also allows you to receive a 90% credit for the cash price of your lever harp towards the purchase of a pedal harp within the first five years.
We offer some pedal harps for short-term rental. Please call us for more information about pedal harp rentals.
What if I want to upgrade from a lever harp to a pedal harp?
All lever harps purchased through the Atlanta Harp Center are eligible to be traded in towards the purchase of a new pedal harp for up to 90% of the purchase price within five years of the date of purchase.
Full trade-in value is subject to inspection. Structural and cosmetic damage may reduce the trade-in allowance. Certain other restrictions may apply.
Do you ship harps?
Yes. Our pedal harps are expertly packaged and shipped nationally with either ALG, ABF freight or other national carriers. Smaller harps may use a different carrier depending on the harp's size. We require the harps be insured through the shipping company or with outside instrument insurance prior to shipping. The cost of delivery will vary depending on the size of harp and destination. Shipping costs range from $500-1000 depending on weight and travel distance; please contact us for a more accurate quote. Transit time will be approximately seven business days to most locations. Please note: extreme hot or cold temperatures will delay transit time. You will be provided with a tracking number to follow your harp's journey to its new home.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We offer international shipping. Costs will be calculated on a case-by-case basis and will not be reflected on your original receipt for online orders. Customers making orders online will be contacted by email with shipping costs before your credit card is run and the order is shipped. Some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
Do you sell harps on consignment?
Yes. We are happy to keep your harp in our showroom and advertise it for sale through our website and social media promotions. All harps sold on consignment are due to inspection and must be completely restrung and regulated at the seller's cost prior to being put on the floor, unless there is proof of a restring and regulation by a certified technician within one year. If you are interested in selling your harp on consignment, please contact us for more details.
Can a particular harp be reserved for me to try?
Yes. We require a $250 non-refundable harp holding fee to hold a harp. You will have two weeks from the date of payment to make your decision. This amount may be applied to your final purchase.
I would like to try a harp in your other location. Could it be transferred to the closer showroom?
Yes. We require a harp-holding fee of $250 to transfer an instrument from one location to another. A transfer fee of $100 will be deducted from your harp holding fee. You will have two weeks from the date of delivery to the preferred showroom to make your decision.
I need to get my harp regulated. Do you regulate harps at your store?
Yes. We regularly have technicians come through the area and perform regulations in our store. Please check our Events page and follow us on Facebook for the most up-to-date schedule. Lyon & Healy and Salvi warranty regulations must be performed by a member of the Lyon & Healy/Salvi Technician's Guild for the warranty terms to remain in effect.
What is your return policy?
Harps - Any harps ordered online or via phone may be returned within seven days and will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Any harps tried and purchased in the showroom may not be returned unless a manufacturing defect is found. If a manufacturing defect is found, the harp may be repaired or replaced at the manufacturer's discretion according to the terms of the warranty. The purchaser is responsible for shipping both directions on returned harps. Special order and consignment harps may not be returned.
Strings/Music - Strings may not be returned unless defective. Any defective strings must be returned within two weeks of purchase. Music cannot be returned unless damaged in shipping.
Accessories - Accessories may be returned within seven days of receipt, unused and in the original packaging. Defective or damaged items may be replaced if returned within seven days after receiving approval from the store.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5-10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3-5 business days), and the time it takes to process a return check to you (5-10 business days).
If you need to return an item, login to your account, view the order using the Complete Orders link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
