Le Cygne(The Swan) is taken from Camille Saint-Saëns Le Carnaval des Animaux (The Carnivalof the Animals). In some orchestral versions, the cello and harp are featured prominently, and it is common to perform the piece simply as a duet for the two instruments. This transcription for cello and lever harp features a challenging lever harp part, including many lever changes. Some of the chord voicing have been changed for efficiency with the lever changes, which are marked with diamond shaped notes throughout.
