Now the Green Blade Riseth arr. by Rhett Barnwell

The old French tune “Noël Nouvelet” has been set to a variety of Christmas and Easter texts, and here is arranged using the text “Now the Green Blade Riseth." This arrangement for the intermediate lever or pedal harpist is in the key of e minor with two preset accidentals, and one lever or pedal change, and is approximately 3 1/2 minutes long. It is lively and rhythmic and features several variations on the original tune. Two verses of the hymn text are included.
