"TANGERINE Redux is one of many versions of the original TANGERINE.
The original TANGERINE is a much broader work now several decades old. It experiments with seventh chord voicing for a three-chord progression. The original is played on pedal harp and features a prominent syncopated rhythm and pedal changes and is heavily improvised.
This version - REDUX - is an attempt to reduce the original to its essence. It is playable on both pedal and lever harp, and students tell me it reminds them of a Studio Ghibli soundtrack.
This version hints at the theme of the original, is in ABA form, F major and 4/4 time, includes chord symbols and fingerings, features an ending that echoes the introduction, and is two pages. There are no lever or pedal changes."
