This well-known piece is actually the instrumental prelude to a larger choral work “Te Deum” (We Praise Thee, O God). This arrangement, for the advanced intermediate lever or pedal harpist, is essentially a verbatim adaptation from the original source material. In the key of C, there are multiple lever and pedal changes and the piece is approximately four minutes long, with repeats. It is a grand and stately piece and is popular for weddings, Easter, church services, and other festive occasions.
