Taken from Debussy's first book of Préludes for piano, La Fille Aux Cheveux de Lin has long been a favorite on the harp.
Grandjany's transcription features enharmonic doublings to saturate the harmonies and sensitive, detailed mufflings. The optional use of harmonics for one melodic section make the transcription more difficult but beautiful.
