Atlanta Harp Center Store Manager Position
The Atlanta Harp Center (AHC) is seeking a full-time store manager for its Alpharetta, Georgia store starting July, 2022.
AHC focuses on serving the harp community in the Southeast region through retail sales, rentals, service and community outreach. AHC is looking for a candidate with an outgoing personality and a positive attitude to manage day to day operations and supervise our small, dedicated team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work directly with customers in harp sales and rentals
Develop and maintain customer relations
Handle in store phone, e-mail and online communications
Present the showroom in an inviting and professional manner
Help to create advertising campaigns and sales promotions for attracting new customers and retaining current customers
Manage petty cash checkbook
Teacher relations: Work directly with teachers to provide for their student’s needs
Qualifications and Skills:
Intermediate-advanced Harp Proficiency; ability to demonstrate harps
Completed college degree (music degree not required)
Retail experience
Strong customer service skills
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge and experience with computer programs
Experience with social media
Comfortable moving harps and lifting up to 45 lbs.
Valid driving license with an acceptable safe driving record
Work Hours and Benefits:
Relocation allowance provided
36 hr. work week including Saturday retail hours:
occasional concerts, conferences and workshops w/ extended hours
Annual 2 week paid vacation, 1 week paid personal/sick leave
