While on the island of Unst, Shetland, Scotland in the summer of 2023, Sunita Staneslow crafted these beautiful arrangements of four well-known hymns based on Psalm texts, along with a Jewish setting of Psalm 57. Several of the hymns actually have Scottish roots and are designed to be meditative in nature and are useful for a variety of situations including worship, weddings, therapy, and personal nourishment. They are at an easy intermediate level and can be played on lever harp or pedal harp (or piano) with few accidentals. Pieces are in the keys of C, G, F, and D minor, and hymn texts are included.
All People That On Earth Do Dwell (Old Hundredth)
The Lord’s My Shepherd (Crimond)
A Mighty Fortress (Ein Feste Burg)
Praise to the Lord, the Almighty (Lobe Den Herren)
